Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): The Village Council of Industrial Village, Razhüphe, Dimapur today asked all concern villagers and others who have not yet collected the ‘Village Land Patta’ for their respective land within the village to come and collect the same within fifteen days in order to avoid any further complicity on the possession of land ownership.
A press statement issued by the Head Village Chief and Chairman of the Industrial Village Razhüphe, TL Angami, in this regard, informed all the villagers and Department agencies within the village that the Village Council will take appropriate against ‘defaulter (s)’ as per the law of the land, after the expiry of the notification.
The statement further disclosed that the notification comes as a consequence to the decision of the Guwahati High Court decision on March 10 2005, which was passed in “(I). WP (C) 136 (K) 2002 and (2). Order of the same High Court in Writ Appeal No 41 (K), 2005 Dated 14th August 2007”. The information is in continuation to the earlier notice on the same issue published in a local daily on May 28, 2005, the statement added.
