Dimapur, September 1 (MExN): Inner Wheel Club, Dimapur organized a webinar on ‘eye-donation awareness’ on August 31.
Dr Aaditya Bajaj MBBS, DO, DNB, FRCS (Glasgow), Fellowship in Cornea and anterior segment, presently working at Disha Eye Hospital, Siliguri, West Bengal and Dr Asonla Aying, Mbbs, Trained in phaco oculoplasty from Dimapur spoke on the need, means and process of eye-donation.
They educated all the participants with various information related to eye-donation. This was followed by an interactive session within the participants and the Opthalmologists.
A press release from the Inner Wheel Club stated that the session began with the welcome address by President Sanjukta Bhattacharjee, IW prayer was recited by Secretary Nidhi Modi, and Doctors were formally introduced by IW member Dr Khushboo Agarwal. The session ended with the vote of thanks by IPP Pinky Agarwal.
