Medziphema, May 31 (MExN): ATMA Dimapur Medziphema block inaugurated an Integrated Farm School at Zhuikhu Village on May 25.
During the inaugural programme, various aspects on integrated farming system for sustainable agriculture was imparted to the participants by BTT Convener and ACTO, KVK (ICAR) Jharnapani Z. James Kikon while concept on farm school was delivered to the farmers by Medziphema Block BTM, Chubanaro Jamir. On the occasion, Nivikhe was appointed as the farm teacher. Field visit was carried out where various discussions and queries were made.
Further, training on ‘Nutrient Management of Rice’ was also conducted by Z. James Kikon. Altogether 17 farmers attended the programme. Dhaincha and maize seeds, tools and vemi bed were distributed to the farmers.
