The winners of the Inter Department Badminton Club annual tournament.
Kohima, November 28 (MExN): The Inter-Department Badminton Club on Saturday conducted its first annual badminton tournament at the Grand vista Arena Badminton stadium, Meriema under Kohima district.
Kekhriesetuo Ziephrü and Kelhikha Kenye emerged as the champions while Shanavas C, and Er. Sabou Yashü secured the runner up position. The tournament witnessed matches for the Men’s doubles category.
The club informed that 12 member club was formed in 2020 comprising of enthusiastic government officials from various departments with the motive to promote fitness.
Members of the Club are all aged above 30 years. Recently, the club conducted the 1st ever Inter Department Badminton tourney for Kohima district.
