Our Correspondent Kohima | July 14 Riizhiikhrie Govt Higher Secondary School will face G. Rio School in the grand finale of the 1st Kohima District Inter-School Football tournament here at Kohima Local Ground on July 15 at 1:00 pm. Temjen Toy, Additional Chief Secretary, Nagaland will grace the valedictory function as the guest of honour. Jointly organized by Royal Club Kohima and School Education Department, the tournament kicked off on June 26 last and witnessed the participation of 24 teams (22 private and two government schools). The champions will win cash prize of Rs. 70,000 while the runners up will be take away Rs.50,000. The two losing semi-finalists will each receive Rs. 20,000. Royal Club beats KPC Royal Club Kohima defeated Kohima Press Club 3-1 in an exhibition match played here today. Akhrie netted two goals for Royal Club while Sanyii scored the third goal. The lone goal for KPC came through Neibu.
