Kohima | April 2 : The number of users of the internet has been doubling every year and it is growing steadily, yet its penetration in the state has been limited. This was stated in the annual administrative report of Information Technology and Communication Department. In order to give a thrust towards an informed society, a scheme for provision of wireless internet connectivity was initiated. This provision of wireless internet connectivity is being implemented through issue of data cards to the administrative heads of departments, heads of departments and IT nodal officers of all departments.
