Into to the world of music, courtesy Music Task Force

Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The Music Task Force, is all set to let the music lovers of Nagaland to have a look into the world of professional musicians with their ionitiative to have a one to one interactive workshop on May 13 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima with professional musicians. 

A press release issued by G Sema, the Project Director of the Music Task Force which is under the government of Nagaland, it stated that the architects of the “Roots festival ’07 … on the Move” concert in Kohima, have also opened up a vista of one-on-one interaction with these professional bands and musicians through the ‘Interactive Workshop/Seminar’ which will allow a very personalized interaction with these professionals in the various facets of creative music: songwriting; guitar; bass; body percussions/drums; dub music and renditions on the traditional ‘pena’; besides takes on personalized experiences that will have your mind buzzing with rhythms and melodies before the sessions are through.

Expressing happiness over their association in this venture, the release encouraged those who seek music as a profession, to take this opportunity to polish their latent skills through interactions with the professionals. Further, the release encouraged to imitate the resolve, determination and dedication that took the professionals to where they are today, and their continuing pursuit to delve into the unbounded creativity and innovation that music allows.

The release also expressed its gratefulness to the Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, who consented to this joint initiative where the Music Task force partnered on this venture as a co-sponsor, along with Aircel and NEC. It also thanked the Springboard Surprises and Pulse who got the act together in Nagaland, and especially the guests without whom this interaction would not have been possible.

The release stated that participation at the Workshop is sponsored by the Music Task Force, hence entry is free for all music lovers and potential songwriters.

Further, the release wished everyone at the “Roots festival ’07… on the move, Interactive Workshop/ Seminar” an eventful and fruitful session.
