JALUKIE, OCTOBER 28 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch in collaboration with IRCS Peren District Branch successfully organized a launching programme to mark the inauguration of the IRCS Jalukie Sub-Division Branch on October 27. 

A press release issued informed that the event took place at the ADC office premises in Jalukie Town. ADC, Jalukie T L Kiusumong Thikir, delivered the welcome address. He expressed gratitude to all attendees and acknowledged the significance of the event for the local community.The presence of Akhale V Khamo, General Secretary of IRCS Nagaland State Branch, added prestige and significance to the occasion, the press release maintained. The programme was marked by various speeches and a display of the collective enthusiasm to extend humanitarian support to the community.

Meanwhile, the IRCSN State Branch in collaboration with the IRCS Peren District organized a successful First Aid training program, equipping the trainees with essential life-saving skills. The training was held at ADC office premises in Jalukie town on October 26. Altogether 40 trainees participated in the training. Haideutad, Honorary Secretary, IRCS, Peren District briefly elaborated on the IRCS and its movement. 

Resource persons were Dr Hedungkiebe, Chairman (Interim) IRCS Jalukie Sub-Division Branch and Kholie Dolf, St John Ambulance First Aid Master Trainer.
