Phek, June 3 (MExN): Ex-Officio Director (HOD) & Additional Secretary, Department of Employment, Skill Development Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, Kovi Meyase, NCS visited Government ITI Phek on June 2.
As per the DIPR report, a consultative meeting was held with the ITI Phek principal and staff at its conference hall, where the Director briefed them about the department’s policies and encouraged the teaching faculty team to impart quality skills for industry employment.
Er N Nyaksham Phom, Principal, Government ITI Phek welcomed the official visiting team and highlighted the important requirements at the discussion meeting for the improvement of the ITI Phek.
Er Alongse Sangtam, Deputy Director shared his ideas and views regarding the improvement of ITIs performance. He informed that all existing SCVT Trade will be affiliated to NCVT in a phased manner and grading of ITI would be done to reflect the current performance level of the Institutions.
The Director visited all the classrooms of ITI Phek and interacted with the trainees. The visiting team officials also planted tree saplings followed by the release of the G20 Poster by the Director during the Jan Bhagidari program held at ITI at the same time.
