Elders at the socialization programme of Jakhama and Mima villagers held at Mima village on February 19.

Kohima, February 19 (MExN): A socialisation programme was held on February 19 reaffirming peace and harmony that exist between was Jakhama village and Mima village.
Speaking at Küsoma rostrum in Mima village, the two GBs from Jakhama Thinuzeho Kirha and Vitsol Zao shared about the traditional friendship between the two villages and narrated peace and harmony have had existed since the forefather days.
With the upcoming election to 14h Nagaland Legislative Assembly in the backdrop, the two GBs also reminded the gathering on need to choose a right candidate for their constituency, a press release informed.
The two GBs also affirmed the firm position of Jakhama to give their all out support to their representative for the upcoming election and reminded the gathering to give their valuable vote for their well-being.
Speaking on the occasion, Avio Tetso also reminded voters not to be enticed by money but emphasised on the need to support a candidate who should represent them for their welfare and development of their region.
Khekano Leno, chairman of MVCC; Zhopo Zao, chairman of JVCC; Khriesavile Khano, Welfare Committee Member, Jakhama and Mima, among others spoke on the occasion.
Special songs were presented on the occasion attended by scores of people from both the two villages, the release added.
