Jakhama, January 8: The Jakhama Village 24th session-cum-launching of Jubilee Year will be held on January 16, 2014 at 10:00 am at Jakhama local ground, Kohima.
Jakhama Village Council, Chairman, Medose Richa has stated in a press release that Er Kevitol Khatso would lead the session with traditional blessing by the Village eldest man. Vipi Khatso and Medokul Sophie ex MLA will be the speaker. The official launching of Jubilee Year would be declare by the Chairman of Jakhama Village Council right after his keynote address followed with Jubilee dedication by the Pastors of Jakhama Baptist Church, Catholic Church and Christian Revival Church along with a Jubilee Choir piece to be presented by Jakhama Baptist BKK choir.
Jakhama Youth Society will present a folk song and special number from Keneiprazhu Tase & friends.Village Council Secretary & VDB Secretary would present a report. The Village consisted of eight different khels would be entering the local ground in khel-wise in our Naga traditional manner. The Chairman of Jakhama Village Council Medose Richa have requested all its villagers far and near young and old to attend the programme as well as the feast.
