Ji Chang Wook's 'journey of giving' reaches Nagaland

Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): Ji Chang Wook International Team in partnership with Act of Kindness Society celebrated Korean actor Ji Chang Wook's birthday by distributing personal hygiene products and face masks to over 100 people in distress at the Railway Station, Dimapur on July 4.

Ji Chang Wook International Team is a Philippines-based fandom with members from different parts of the world united to share one goal in supporting the Korean actor, a press release informed on Sunday. Active since November 2019, the team’s mission is to increase Wook's popularity by promoting his works and good deeds, it added.

In the press release, the non-profit organisation stated that its ‘journey of giving’ began in December 2019 as a way to support the actor who is also an ardent believer of giving. While this is the firt initiative in India, it said that the team had been supporting people in need in the Philippines and South Korea. The only reason we chose India was because it was one of the worst hit during the second wave of pandemic and we really wanted to extend our love and care through Wook, it added.

“We really hope that this small act of gratitude brings a smile on their face and contentment in the hearts,” the release stated.
