DIMAPUR AUGUST 26 (MExN): On behalf of the Chakhesang Region, GPRN, the Central Administration Officer, Venehu, has reaffirmed upholding an ‘Open door policy’ and has appealed all the Chakhesang ‘brothers and sisters’ to join the mainstream under the leadership of Issac Chishi Swu, Th.Muivah and Khodao Yangthang.
The Region has welcomed ‘constructive criticism in the interest of the nation’ at the same time, the Central Administration Officer stated “the Region is open to confront all social evils such as cautioning those who insist to forever swim in the stagnant waters of NNC/FGN to have consideration for their near and dear ones who need to travel outside of Phek Town”.
They felt that recent days have witnesed these anti-socials kidnapping even innocent women and keeping them under humiliating conditions for days as well as harrassed old-aged parents and relatives of national workers in and around Phek Town. ‘But they had urged not to incite for retaliation.’ The Region has also expressed gratitude to the general public for their prayer, support and co-operation on the Indo-Naga peace talk which is at a crucial stage.
The region appealed to the Chakhesangs to join hands with the NSCN and be part of the ‘epoch event.’ “Together we will once again unfurl our National Rainbow Flag all over Nagalim. Make it a better place to live in and pave the way for younger generations to come in the right perspectives” stated CAO Venehu.
