Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): The Joint Council Forum (JCF), comprising the NST Colony Council, Churches Colony Council, Middle Point Council, Nyamo Lotha Colony Council and Khermahal Area Council, held a meeting with senior police officials in Dimapur on Friday to discuss issues concerning the safety and well-being of Dimapur residents.
The meeting was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Dimapur, and attended by the DCP, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) and officers-in-charge of East and West police stations.
The meeting provided a platform for representatives of the councils and police administration to exchange views and discuss concerns and challenges relating to the city.
Various issues concerning public safety, security and the overall well-being of residents were discussed, with both sides expressing willingness to cooperate in addressing the concerns and finding practical solutions.
The participants also agreed to strengthen coordination between the community and police administration and work collectively towards making Dimapur a safer city.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with a commitment from both sides to maintain mutual cooperation and support in addressing issues affecting the public.
