Wokha, April 19 (MExN): In connection with the proposed construction of a 2-lane road on NH-2 from Km 72.40 to Km 83.00 under Wokha district, the District Administration has scheduled a joint inspection on April 22, starting from 7 AM.
The inspection, initiated following a letter from civil society organisations (CSOs) in Wokha, will begin at the petrol pump area in Niropen, Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Vineet Kumar (IAS), informed in a circular.
Representatives from various departments and organisations including the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Executive Engineer of PWD (NH), Extra Assistant Commissioner (Sadar), and two representatives each from the Lotha Hoho and the Joint Action Committee (JAC) are expected to participate in the inspection.
