DIMAPUR, AUG 27 (mexN): The Jalukie Students Union (JSU) drawing attention to its previous circular regarding attendance of Officers and staffs, has reminded erring officers and staffs within the Union’s jurisdiction that the students “shall stand and stick to No Work, No Pay as far as performance of work is concerned”.
In a release issued by Machigong, Information and publicity Secretary, dereliction of duties by officer and staffs of the area would not be tolerated particularly if it continues even after warnings have been issued. The erring would be dealt with as per the discretion of the union, it stated.
Further, it appealed to the concerned authorities to check the laxities existing in various departments failing which, the union shall be forced to take its own course of action. Furthermore, the Union seriously viewed the anomalies existing in the Public Distribution system. It urged upon the concerned dealers not to mislead or take advantage of the poor and deserving beneficiaries through any sort of devious means. In case discrepancies are detected, the union warned that it would be forced to ‘interfere’ and resort to appropriate action deemed proper by the union as per the “legality of the system”.
