Mokokchung, September 10 (MExN): Jubilee Memorial College (JMC) held its farewell programme for Limasenla Jamir, Department of Sociology, and Moalemla Imchen, Department of English at JMC Hall on September 8.
In a brief speech, Dr Imtiwati Jamir, Principal of JMC, thanked both the teachers for their contributions to the college's improvement and bade them farewell with words of inspiration and encouragement. Tsungrosenla Jamir and Lothungbeni Yanthan also spoke on behalf of the Departments of English and Sociology, respectively. Yimyatetla also spoke on behalf of the JMC Student Council, Sociology and English departments, respectively.
The two outgoing teachers, Limasenla Jamir and Moalemla Imchen, in their farewell speeches, shared their experiences in the college, the challenges they faced as new recruits, and their personal journeys of growth. They thanked the college and the faculty for the love and support.
The farewell programme was attended by both the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the JMC Student Council.
