Kohima, October 13 (MExN): The scheduled jungle clearance and maintenance programme of 132kV, 66kV & 33kV lines will result in intermittent disruption of power supply in several locations under the feeders till November 14.
The State DIPR, quoting ADC Kohima, N Bhavani, informed that the process, being undertaken as an effort to avoid disruption and facilitate stable power supply, started on October 1 and will continue till November 14 from 8AM-3PM.
While the Department of Power shall try to minimize the total shutdown, there will be unavoidable intermittent disruption of power supply in some pockets and all consumers and public are requested to bear the inconvenience caused, it added.
