Jubilation surrounded the camp of K.A.K in Kohima as they celebrated 30th anniversary of its establishment on November 1.
K.A.K, tagged as (Your Family Store) is located in the main town, around Razhu Point, Kohima.
Established in 1993, Ketu Putsure said that K.A.K was named after him (Ketu) And Kris (Wife).
“We carry our business establishments for 30 years with God’s blessings” he said during the 30th anniversary celebration in the presence of Nagaland’s industries & commerce Advisor Hekani Jakhalu Kense.
K.A.T deals garments and accessories, Men’s and women’s clothing, children and home needs.
Speaking on the occasion, Hekani complimented Ketu’s family for running this retail store for 30 years.
Hekani lauded them for managing to grow bigger in their business venture, terming it as role model to many other Nagas.
She maintained that Ketu, through the establishment of K.A.T, has influenced so many younger people to start business.
‘Only business will help the state to grow’
Touching on state economy trends, Hekani said "if Nagaland has to grow, our local economy has to grow," subscribing it as the greatest challenge.
She maintained that only business will help the state to grow.
It is very important that we make sure that our local economy is boosted so that our state grows and our children can inherit a better future, she added while encouraging the young people to open small retail store if they want to get into business.
Through retail only, you get to really know the ABC of business and then you can dream of venturing into bigger business later, she said.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Lezo Putsure while Visato Yhoshu, pastor Union Baptist Church Kohima invoked God’s blessings.
