KARTYS Digital Academy promotes AI and digital skills education

Kohima, August 28 (MExN): KARTYS Digital Academy (KDA), founded by Sagar Ramula, Jungshi Jamir and Peter Jamir in 2024, Nagaland, is working towards bridging the gap between traditional education and the emerging digital economy through skill-based training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital marketing, web development and enterprise management.

According to a DIPR report, KDA is showcasing its initiatives at the TXG Expo Nagaland, being held on August 28 and 29 at the NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima. The expo brings together technology, gaming and culture, with various stalls and activities providing visitors an opportunity to explore emerging technologies, digital innovations and creative industries. KARTYS Digital Academy is among the participating stalls at the expo, showcasing its AI and digital education programmes.

The Academy is introducing AI education in schools and colleges to provide students with opportunities to acquire digital skills from an early stage. The curriculum is aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, combining classroom learning with practical applications. The Academy has developed textbooks for Classes I to XIII covering coding and AI, app development, creative coding, machine learning, drone technology, robotics, Minecraft Education and Microsoft MakeCode.

The learning materials incorporate QR codes that provide access to interactive resources, study guides and assignments, while enabling students, teachers and parents to track learning progress. The programme is designed to develop coding confidence, AI understanding, creativity and problem-solving skills among students.

For advanced learners, KDA offers training in digital marketing with AI tools, covering areas such as search engine optimisation, social media, digital asset management, web development and AI-powered applications. Its core programmes include a three-month crash course, a one-year certificate programme and a three-year continuous programme, with training in digital skills, portfolio development and interview preparation.

The Academy has stated that its students have received placement opportunities with organisations including IDAN, Nagaland Post, Deloitte, Quess, Lush Living, Apple, Anatong Pvt. Ltd., Barclays, Morgan Stanley and Arena.
