Kohima, August 10 (MExN): As directed by the District Administration, the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) informed all shopkeepers and business establishments under the Kohima Municipal Council to whitewash and paint the front of their buildings and shops facing the road.
All concerned are required to complete the whitewashing and painting work on or before 14th August 2026, in view of the Independence Day Celebration on August 15, according to KCCI.
KCCI fervently appealed all members of the business community to comply with the direction and complete the required work within the stipulated time.
The Chamber further sought the cooperation of the entire business community in helping maintain Kohima Town clean, fresh and presentable ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.
