KDBA holds open selection trails

Kohima, September 19 (MExN): The Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) on September 19 conducted open trials for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026, scheduled to be held from November 2 to 14.

According to the KDBA, a total of 61 players including 19 female and 42 male basketball players registered for the open trials conducted at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Basket Ball Court, Kohima.

The association informed that 24 players - 12 each for men and women, have been selected for the Olympic Games out of the 61 registered players.

Earlier, Father Innocent SDB pronounced the opening prayer. Khrielasakuo Keretsü, President KDBA and Thejanguzo Pienyü, Secretary KDBA, welcomed and briefed the players.

It further informed that details of the 24 selected players will be announced in the coming week.
