‘Keep Naga United Village Clean’

Fund raiser concert held at Naga United Village

Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The Naga United Village Students’ Union along with Naga United Village Youth Organization organized its first open air fund raiser concert at Coffee Loft lawn, Naga United Village in Dimapur on October 7. Held under the theme ‘Keep Naga United Village Clean,’ the aim of the event was to highlight how every small action, whether throwing a waste in the garbage, preserving and planting a tree or keeping our surroundings clean, counts, informed a press release.  

Abalo Kiko, owner of Coffee Loft in her address pointed out the significance of the concert and challenged everyone to make a pledge with self to keep the society clean, as change starts with oneself.  

The concert featured stellar line up of renowned artists and local musicians.  

Mangyang Kichu, national songwriter and artist opened the night and captivated the crowd with old classics like Straight from the Heart and Dream On.  

Elizabeth Dozo, Principal, Great Commission Kids Academy performed along with her students.   Imlee Lee, renowned rapper also took part for the cause, and expressed how important it is to speak up and stand bold against the problems we face today.  

Upcoming bands – Grey Wolf, Devil Rejects, students from School of Music and Arts, Purana Bazar, bedroom DJ Angum, Dancer Koilash and various local singers took part in the social cause.  

The donations and proceeds from the concert will be used to provide dustbins in all the corners of the village, it was informed.
