
Kohima, July 12 (MExN): Academician and Social Activist Kekhrie Yhome, who had earlier announced his intention to contest against Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, today filed his nomination paper for 10th Northern Angami-I A/C by-election scheduled on July 29. According to a DIPR report, Yhome during his nomination at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kohima said that his main target to contest the by-election was to “spread the gospel of youth in advocating Clean Election.” While announcing his candidature for the by-election on June 1, Yhome told media that he was contesting as a “whiff of fresh air is needed to end the corrupt politics and governance in Nagaland.” “It is the united task of one and all to assert for our collective good and future,” he had added.
