Kohima, December 6 (MExN): The Khezhakeno CRC youth Fellowship celebrated its Golden Jubilee under the theme ‘The Lord has done great things for us’ Psalms 126:3 on December 28 and 29, 2024.

A press release received here stated that delivering the Word of God on Sunday Morning Service on December 29, Rev Niekedozo emphasised on five significance of Biblical Jubilee celebration.

He stated that Jubilee is a time to reclaim what is actually one’s own and called upon the congregation to reclaim especially the spiritual gifts that God had bestowed upon each and every one. He also stressed that Jubilee is the occasion for freedom from all forms of slavery and therefore called upon the congregation to claim freedom from all forms of evil things which have enslaved us. He also stated that Jubilee signifies forgiveness and urged upon the all the congregation to forgive and forget since, Jesus Christ has already forgiven all humanity with the supreme sacrifice on the cross.

Elaborating further on Jubilee celebration, he stated that the seed of Jubilee blessings will continue to overflow upon all and encouraged the church to pray and receive Jubilee blessings. Finally, he stated that, there are only two destinations for all and called upon the congregation to choose “Heaven instead of Hell for eternity.”

The programme was led by Pfukrulhou Koza, Convenor Golden Jubilee Organizing Committee. A special song was presented by Kevekha Kevin Zehol, NCS, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, who also exhorted the congregation.

The choirs during the Jubilee included Sodzulhou CRC youth and CCRC Upper PWD youth.
