Pungro, April 11 (MExN): The Khongsa area public held a general session on January 24 at Khongsa Town during which the house after prolonged deliberation resolved and approved to change the nomenclature of Khongsa Range to Khongsa Area Public Organization (KAPO). Under Pungro sub-division, the organization aims to attain all round development of the area. During the general session, new office bearers and Executive Council of both Khongsa Area Public Organisation (KAPO) & Khongsa Area GBs’ Union (KAGU) were elected for the tenure 2017-20. KAPO is led by Hantsuki as President and Korakmong K as General Secretary while Rethrongmong Y and T Sheamki were elected as President and General Secretary of KAGU.
