
Kohima, August 8 (MExN): Khriekesa Football Club, Meriema, Kohima was established only this year but they are already aiming for the zenith. The club was primarily started to help players get better and broader exposure. It also hopes to help keep youngsters away from getting off-tract and potentially have football as a professional career in life. With that in mind, KFC came up with an idea to appoint a chaplain who will monitor, pray, counsel the players at all time and guide them in true sportsman spirit. The President of the club, Neilakhrielie Phewhuo from Meriema, is a footballer turned businessman and is backing the young upcoming talents to perform at the Kohima Football League which gets underway on Wednesday. The club however insists that their participation is not just for winning but to fellowship and usher in a spirit of brotherhood through the sport. The team will be led by Kevisetuo Yaostu as Manager and Vizovor Liezietsu and Neimezo Huozha as as Coach and Asst. Coach respectively.
