Kikheto given overall charge of Dimapur

The state government has assigned Y Kikheto Sema, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary, Agriculture, as the over all in-charge of Dimapur district for all COVID-19 related activities being carried out in the district with immediate effect.

The order was issued on May 10 and signed by Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy. It may be mentioned that the government had earlier constituted Special Committee COVID-19 Dimapur comprising of four members led by Kikheto to liaise with and advise the district administration and police. The Committee functioned from April 2 till May 2.
