Kim Kardashian and 'bestie' JLo fire up the internet with Facebook ad

Los Angeles, USA, November 29 (efe-epa).- Kim Kardashian and her “bestie” Jennifer Lopez surprised social media users on Wednesday as they appeared together wearing house clothes and face masks in an ad for Portal, Facebook's smart video calling service.
In the video, the two stars are about to talk about their plans for a secret holiday party until they are interrupted by former baseball star and JLo’s fiancé Alex Rodriguez, who is shown with the same pink face mask.
Kardashian, with a green face mask, is shown from her living room, while the singer speaks from her kitchen with a pajama top that matches Rodriguez’s.
"My bestie @jlo and I are always on the move. But @PortalFacebook smart video calling always keeps up with us… and @arod too,” tweeted Kardashian, generating a stream of comments from among her more than 62 million followers.
Lopez did the same in her profile and, to soothe Rodriguez's long face, promised that "Alex has his own friends to smart video call with.”
Portal is a new service presented in September by Facebook and designed for videoconferencing and the streaming of content, such as movies or video games.
This announcement is part of the commitment of Menlo Park (California, USA) giants to enter the smart home business.
In addition, it takes advantage of the stir that Kardashian caused two weeks ago when she revealed to E! News the embarrassing moment she had when she finally met Lopez in real life.
"It was at the Beverly Hills hotel. I'll never forget it. I tripped, like coming down the stairs. And I was like, ‘Oh, my god, I ruined my moment!' Like, I was so embarrassed, ‘She thinks I'm a loser.' I was just like, ‘Oh my god, I'm so clumsy. Sorry. I love you!' And I just, like, ran," confessed the reality TV star.
Since then, Kardashian says the two enjoy a very close relationship.
Rodriguez told People magazine that "Kim and Jennifer are very, very close, and she’s almost like a mentee of Jennifer, and Jennifer’s mentored her a lot over the years.” EFE-EPA
