KIPHIRE, JULY 25 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire has issued an order prohibiting unauthorised construction and development activities in Pungro Town and along the Luthur–Salomi stretch falling within the proposed alignment/right of way (ROW) of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) Road Project.
The order stated that such activities are likely to hinder ongoing and upcoming assessment and survey work related to the project. It further reiterated that no assessment, compensation or claims will be entertained for any construction or development undertaken recently.
Village councils and ward authorities within the proposed alignment/ROW have been directed to strictly enforce the directive to avoid any legal or administrative action against violators.
