Kiphire, June 6 (MExN): The Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of S Kiusumew Yimkhiung Advisor for Fire & Emergency, Home Guards, and Civil Defence at DC's Conference Hall Kiphire on June 6.
A DIPR report stated that at the outset, the members felicitated the HSLC 2023 Topper Tekamoli Yimchunger from Little Flower School, Pungro for securing the 18th position and also for scoring the highest marks in Science and Social Sciences.
The Advisor congratulated Tekamoli for bringing laurels to the District, urged him to continue to be dedicated in his academics and also encouraged the other students to work hard to achieve their desired goals in life.
Some of the agendas discussed were the proposal for the establishment of a Government Primary School at the newly recognized village- Ighoto village under Sitimi, a proposal for the renovation of the SDEO Office building at Seyochung, a proposal for the construction of the CDPO office at Kiphire.
Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam assured that he would give his best service to the people and urged all the members to cooperate. Later PowerPoint presentation was given by the Department of Tourism and District Evaluation Officer Kiphire.
