Kiphire, September 13 (MExN): The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has directed all government employees under Kiphire district to be in their respective places of posting with immediate effect, and to provide services to the citizens of the district. In a press release on Tuesday, the USSC stated that truancy among Heads of Departments and government employees in Kiphire has been hindering the smooth functioning of offices and causing public inconvenience. “The Conference appeals to all the offices under its jurisdiction to provide an employee list and it is also directed to maintain an attendance register for all employees including HoDs,” the release stated. In case of failure to adhere to the directive, the USSC stated that it would initiate its course of action as per the government rule under ‘No Work, no pay,’ it added.
