Dimapur, May 16 (MExN): ATMA Phek, Chizami block inaugurated Kiwi Farm School on May 1 in Chizami village. Zevosenuo Rutsa, Block Technology Manager (BTM), Chizami briefed the concept of farm school. According to a press release, she stated that the main aim for setting up the Kiwi Farm School was to motivate and impart scientific technology to the farmers. In line with the farm school, post harvest management of kiwi fruit was conducted by ATM Sibino Dolie. She deliberated on the various steps involved in post harvest management, the release stated.
Kezutshutso Wezah was also appointed as the farm school teacher. He briefed the management practices he carried out in his farm and shared his future plans for the farm school. An interactive session was also conducted with the farmers and farm school teacher. Altogether 26 people attended the programme.
