Kiwi farm school at Sakraba village

Phek, October 8 (MExN): ATMA Phek Chizami block inaugurated kiwi farm school at Sakraba village on September 9. Zevosenuo Rutsa, BTM Chizami Block briefed the concept of farm school and mentioned that the main aim was to motivate and impart scientific technologies to the farmers. In line with the farm school, training on kiwi cultivation was conducted.

Resource person, Sentinungba Longchar HO and BTT Convener Chizami block briefed the different species of kiwi. He said different species can be identified by their appearance and shape. He mainly emphasised on prunning. Veposwu D. Vadeo was appointed as the farm school teacher. The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Alole Mero, ATM Chizami block.
