Kohima, March 18 (MExN): The State Investment Programme Management & Implementation Unit (SIPMIU) is going to implement the Kohima Water Supply Subproject as part of the North Eastern Region Capital Cities Development Investment Program (NERCCDIP)- Tranche 2.
The subproject covers provision of 322 km secondary water distribution network. In this regard the following safeguards document has been prepared- Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Assessment and Review Framework (EARF), Indigenous Peoples Planning Document (IP) and Resettlement Planning Document (RP).
The public have also been informed that the above documents can be accessed at http:/www.nagaland.nic.in as NERCCDIP- Kohima or at the following offices for review and comments, if any; Office of the Programme Director, Old Secretariat Complex, Kohima, Nagaland, office of the Chief Engineer, Kohima; Nagaland and office of the Kohima Municipal Council.
