KNSK Mopong unit appeals for speedy investigation in cyber bullying incident

Dimapur, August 11 (MExN): The Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) Mopong unit has condemned the alleged cyber bullying incident where two persons— Maongkala Imsong and Toni Longsen, made abusive, racially discriminating and derogatory statements against the winner of the Nagaland Diva 2021 contest Lickpo N Konyak.

“Their defamatory statements has caused destruction and hurt the sentiment of not only Lickpo but entire women folk and the people of Konyak tribe in particular,” the KNSK Mopong Unit stated in a press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, President of KNSK Mopong unit Langmai Konyak acknowledged the official in-charge and police personnel of the East Police Station Dimapur for entertaining the FIR lodged by the Konyak Students’ Union, Dimapur and appealed the law enforcing authority to expedite the investigation and bring culprit to justice in order to prevent any untoward consequences and maintain congenial relationships.
