Dignitaries and others during school level Teachers’ Day 2022 at Baptist High, Kohima on September 3.
Kohima, September 4 (MExN): Baptist High, Kohima celebrated its school level Teachers’ Day 2022 in the school auditorium under the theme ‘Celebrating God’s greatest gift’ on September 3.
School managing director Rev Dr M Savi spoke at the programme and expounded on the life story of Dr S Radhakrishnan and encouraged the teachers to emulate his lifestyle and to always strife towards achieving excellence both in academics and life.
The school also felicitated one of its teachers- Vikehienuo Belho for being conferred the district level teachers’ award.
A special prayer for the teachers was pronounced by Rev Puthavil Neikha, Mission Director, ABCC. Speech on behalf of teachers was delivered by PH Shesou and on behalf of students by Vecholü Rhakho.
The programme also witnessed songs and drama from students. The event was compered by Peshiu Shiu and Vivitshü Poji of class 12.
