The Kohima Bible College (KBC) today presented academic degree to 56 graduating students through celebration of 50 Golden Graduation programme 2024 of KBC here at Multi Purpose Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
Out of 56, KBC presented academic degrees to 31 (Bachelor of Theology), 20 (Master of Divinity) and 5 Master of Divinity (Extension).
Addressing the graduating students, Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal KBC and Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church said that KBC is the first Bible College in Nagaland. In 50 years, he said that KPC products are place around the world- United States, Korea, Cambodia, Denmark, Germany, China, Nepal etc.
“Today, you have obtained degree. You have to prove it wherever you go,” he told the graduating students. “Wherever you are place, you represent God,” Rev Kiewhuo said and also told the graduating students to represent themselves as disciple and proclaim gospel around the world.
He presented academic degrees to the graduating students while presentation of non-academic awards was done by Abei-ii Neihulie.

Earlier, Khyothungo R. Tsopoe led the programme. Seyiekrono Medom spoke on behalf of the graduating students. Vengo-ii Koza and KBC Choir presented special numbers while Teisozhano Tepa scored pianist for the programme.
KBC Academic Awards
In Academic Award for M. Div for the year 2024, David Nann’s Award for the academic proficiency has been awarded to Theshen Rengma for highest total marks. Seyiekrono Medom received KBC President's Award for highest percentage in O.T. Papers. Theshen Rengma got KBC Principal's Award for highest percentage in N.T. Papers.
In Academic Awards for B. Th for the year 2024, Miitsekiilii was awarded with David Nann’s Award for Academic Proficiency for highest total marks. Kikrukhrienuo Rio received KBC President's Award for highest percentage in O.T. Papers. KBC Principal's Award was presented to Ziezo Mechiilho for highest percentage in N.T Papers.
In Non-Academic Award for M.Div for the year 2024, Thedichutuo Khezhie and Atsolu Nienu were awarded with Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Practical Ministry. Kevide Kikhi and Ngapkhao M. Konyak also got Spiritual Maturity Award.
In Non-Academic Awards for B.Th. for the year 2024, Ziezo Mechiilho and Medoshelii were awarded with Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Practical Ministry and Wekoulhilo Chirie and Shelika Swu for Spiritual Maturity Award.
Seyiekrono Medom has been declared as “Student of the Year.” Social Service Award was presented to Velasalu Rhakho, Mudoselii Phesao, Kuvepolu, Mengubeizo Chadi, Mutsekhoyi Dasai and Khriephrezo Metha.
