Kohima: CWULK celebrates 25 years of existence

Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The Chakhesang Welfare Union Leriechazou Kohima (CWULK) celebrated its 25 years anniversary here at NST Covenant Mission Church, Leriechazou Kohima with Advisor for CAWD and Taxes Küdecho Khamo as the guest speaker on November 25.

Speaking on the occasion, Khamo said the anniversary marks a quarter-century milestone, evoking deep gratitude for God's grace and unwavering guidance. He further acknowledged the efforts of the founding members and early settlers for their instrumental role in fostering the growth and development of the union in the capital.

The advisor emphasised on the significance of identity beyond traditional attire but also the community's lifestyle and attitude which portrays the identity of the tribe, stated a press release. Khamo underscore the need to embrace Christian identity, while prioritizing honesty as a defining trait of the Chakhesang Community. 

Furthermore, the Advisor made a firm stance against the acceptance of laziness, recognizing its potential to erode personal growth and well-being in contemporary society. 

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Vesatso Tetseo Director (Rtd), invocation by Rev Vesotsü Rhakho, pastor PUBC Kohima, chairman address by Muhusa Resuh, short speeches by Neichute CEO, tEA, Dozhohu Tunyi, President, Chakhesang Hoho Kohima.
