Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The Kohima district BJP had an executive meeting on October 28 at State BJP office, Kohima. The meeting deliberated on revamping the party organization at all levels, according to a press release from BJP Kohima.
The newly appointed district president, Khrielie Usou, assured to find out prospective candidates to contest in all the seven mandals, the release stated.
Maintaining that BJP is a secular party comprising of all religions and castes, it cited that a Christian leader from Nagaland, Dr. SC Jamir, has been made Governor of Odisha.
Therefore, the release urged church organizations and civil societies to cooperate with the BJP in order to bring development in the State. Meanwhile, the district BJP frontals presidents and general secretaries, particularly Mahila, Kisan, Yuva, Minority and ST Morchas, were requested to attend the district consultative meeting scheduled for November 2, 10:00 am at State BJP office positively.
