Kohima, September 20 (MExN): The District Youth Resources Officer Kohima under the Department Youth Resources & Sports Nagaland is all set to organize Kohima District Level Youth Festival at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on September 28.
The festival will be marked by folk song and folk dance competition. The maximum number of participants for folk dance is 15 and minimum is 10 while for the folk song the maximum is 10 and minimum is 6. The competition is open to youth of Kohima district in the age group of 16 to 29 years.
Folk Dance winner will get Rs 5000 while second position will get Rs 3000. Folk song-1st prize- Rs 3000, 2nd- Rs2000.
The winner of the festival will get the opportunity to represent Kohima district at the State Level Youth Festival which is to be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima from October 2 to 4.
Any organization, club, village or any groups who are willing to participate in the competition have been informed to get necessary information from District Youth Resource Office, opposite to SCERT Office, High School, Kohima or contact 7005090427/8014653998.
