Kohima gearing up for 9th World Music Day

The 9th World Music Day celebration will take place in Kohima on June 21 at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow.

The event is initiated by Symphony Academy of Music and presented by Musicians Guild in collaboration with Audio Garage, Life Pro Productions, Shiu Lights, San Production and Tozo Powerline.

The event will feature artists like; Rain in Sahara, Version 2, Akhrieze, Atiro Kiho, Kivito, Senti Yabang, Zayie Zacchaeus, The Gluttones and Papersky.

Informing this at a press conference here today at Symphony Cafe, Musicians Guild president Mele Pucho said “ We have started celebrating this World Music Day since 2016 and since then, Musician Guilds Kohima has been very consistent in organizing the concert.”

He said that the day is to encourage and support each other and to give a very good treat to music lovers and followers as well under one roof.

Gate will be opened from 3:00 PM onwards. Concert will start at 5:00 PM. Entry ticket has been fixed at Rs 200 per person. Tickets will be available at the venue itself.


"Support the musicians"

Stating that it will be 3-4 hours show, Pucho extended invitation to everyone to join the celebration and support the musicians.
The event will also feature Dance Battle Vol 2.0 through Lamgrace Dance Studio at 3:30 PM. Ruopfu Whiso will be the host of the show.
