Kohima, February 14 (MExN): Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima District organised an inter-college speech competition under SVEEP campaign with the theme ‘No voters to be left behind’ at DPDB Hall Kohima on February 13.
Addressing the students, DC and DEO Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS encouraged them to exercise their vote in order to have the right leaders elected for a better future, stated a DIPR report.
In the speech competition, Wangshei Konyak from Kros College bagged the first position while Diezenuo Chuzho from Baptist College and Hyulo Tsela, Kohima College bagged the second position. The event was chaired by Sangmou Khiamniungan, EAC (P), and a vote of thanks was pronounced by Limakumla Pongener EAC, Kohima. The panel of judges were Assistant Prof. Lemchangpila Sangtam Kros College; Assistant Prof Dr Sentinaro from Baptist College and Assistant Prof Ase Yalie, Kohima College.
