Kohima, Sept 22: The Kohima District Literacy Mission Authority under Total Literacy Campaign (TLC) has been reconstituted, as per a notification issued by Kohima Deputy Commissioner Zhaleo Rio.
Members include Deputy Commissioner, Kohima as Chairman and district Education Officers as District Project Co-ordinator and Member Secretary, Ex-officio members include Project Director, DRDA, District Cultural Officer, all District Public Relations Officer, all Block Development Officers and Deputy Inspectors of Schools under Kohima and Peren Districts.
Nominated members for a tenure of two years include Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima; District Planning Officer, Kohima; President, Angami Women Organisation and Vilhourie Mor, Teacher State Awardee, Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima as the Teachers’ representative.
