New team of KLH for the tenure 2026-2029.
Kohima, July 1 (MExN): The Kohima Lotha Hoho held its general meeting cum welcoming its new office bearers for the tenure 2026-2029 on June 30 at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima with Chumben Murry, Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland as the special invitee.
Talking on the Viksit Bharat 2027, Dr Murry reminded that when the whole country is getting developed, “we should not be left behind and the younger generation should be prepared and ready to contribute.”
Stating that the new teams are the ambassador of the Lothas, he asked them to work for the welfare of the community.
The new KLH team consists of 12 office bearers headed by the previous chairman K. N. Mhonthung Lotha and 5 advisors, will hold office for a period of 3 years.
During the programme, Khyojamo Tungoe, Convener Audit Committee, presented the KLH Jubilee 2025 Auudit Report ( 2024-2025) while L. Yanremo Mozhui, Treasurer and S. Chonbemo Lotha, Outgoing Secretary presented the 2024- 2026 report.
Rev. Dr. K. Benry Lotha, Senior Pastor, KLBC invoked the dedicatory prayer for the incoming KLH officials.
E. Motsuthung Lotha, Outgoing Vice Chairman enthralled the gathering with a special request song which was followed by general discussion on various matters pertaining to the interest and welfare of the community.
The programme was chaired by E. Motsuthung Lotha while vote of thanks was pronounced by Jonas Yanthan.
Earlier, Y. Abel Lotha, Catechist KLCK and Khonbemo Ngullie, Pastor AG Lotha Church, Kohima prayed for the programme.
