Kohima, March 14 (MExN): The office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Urban Division, Kohima has informed that the water supply system has been affected by considerably decline in discharge from water sources. As such, it appealed to the PHED consumers and the general public at large to bear with the intermittent water supply service. Attributing the shortage to the onset of dry spells and the gradual but drastic changes in weather patterns experienced in the recent years, the department further requested for continued support and cooperation which shall boost the department in its service to the public, stated a report from the state DIPR.
