Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Kohima Science College, Jotsoma in collaboration with YouthNet, Nagaland conducted a one-day seminar on ‘work ethics, professionalism and discipline’ at the Conference Hall on August 3.
The programme was designed for the non-teaching staffs of the college with the aim to reinforce and instill work ethics and discipline to the employees in their respective fields, stated a press release received here.
Esther Angami, Program Head (YouthNet) and Johilo Kath, Program Facilitator (YouthNet) engaged altogether 60 participants during the programme which was divided into four interactive and active-learning sessions.
The resource persons emphasised on team-building, proactive ownership, Communication, work ethics, professionalism and time management in the work-place to effectively contribute to the institute in particular and the society at large. The non-teaching staffs comprises of more than half of the total workforce in the college which includes clerks, laboratory assistants and bearers, drivers, and a host of other multi-tasking staffs.
The closing remark was delivered by Dr Sedevikho Chase, Secretary, IQAC, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma.
