Nagaland CAWD Advisor Kudecho Khamo inaugurated Kohima Thipüzumi community building at Upper Agri Colony, Kohima on July 17.
Addressing the gathering, Khamo congratulated the Thipüzumi Welfare Society Kohima (TWSK) for undertaking such project in the state capital Kohima. The Advisor also stressed the need for other villages and communities to emulate the same and create assets and focus on income generation. Khamo acknowledged the Thipüzumi community for the pioneering leadership in public and religious front.
He also appreciated the Thipüzumi community for their venture in Kiwi and Persimmon cultivation, thereby boosting the rural economy.
The Advisor reiterated the initiative of “One Family: One Project, One Entrepreneur and One Prayer Time” in 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency, which resulted a positive social change within the community.
Further, Khamo called upon the people to uphold work culture and maintain honesty in all their dealings for progress and well being of the society.
Earlier, Metsevoyi Tetseo, convenor, building committee updated the construction report while welcome address was delivered by Dr. Rüpfühü Rose, chairman TWSK.
Rev Vesotsü Rhakho, pastor Police Union Baptist Church, New Reserve Kohima and Rev Vezopa Rhakho, Pastor, Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima prayed for the programme.
The programme was led by Ar Medozho Zango while vote of thanks was proposed by Er Posetso Thingo, former chairman TWSK.
