Zunheboto, October 5 (MExN): Kipi Qomi Welfare Society (KQWS), an NGO based in Dimapur and Zunheboto organized a leadership training programme for Minority Women on September 29 at Zunheboto. The programme was sponsored by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India under the scheme “Nai Roshni.”
Resource person, Hosheli, spoke on Swachh Bharat and dwelt on the importance of cleanliness in the local surrounding. She appealed to all the participants that the Swachh Bharat will only be successful if the citizens participate wholeheartedly, stated a press release by Chairman, Organizing Committee, Henito Sema.
She also spoke on legal rights of women and shared the status of women around the world where women are denied basic and legal rights. She also spoke about domestic violence and critical situation where women should raise our voice against it.
More than 30 women from different colonies of the town attended the training.
