Kronu meets int'l coffee buyers in New Delhi

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): Nagaland Planning & Co-ordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Neiba Kronu met international coffee buyers in New Delhi recently.

Carl Wessel, Deluxe Coffeeworks co-founder is one of the major coffee buyers in the world.

During the interaction, Carl Wessel and Dr Pieter Vermeulen shared their desire to buy coffee from Nagaland and stated that the farmers should get a good price.

While interacting with the buyers, Kronu also highlighted his vision for Nagaland, where the resources are untapped and Nagaland has the potential to compete with the rest of the world.

He also shared his vision on ‘Trees for Wealth’ and about coffee which can be one of the main aspects to boost the economy of the state, particularly the farmers.

Kronu also shared about honey and local ginger production which has low volume but high value with lots of medicinal values as the buyers were also looking to buy other products from Nagaland.
